Print a Picture to Canvas or Panel: How to Select Stock Photos

If you are looking to transfer a picture to canvas, Audimute can help! Step 2: If you are unsure about your image, contact our graphic consultants, 866-553-4600, for advice and more information.  If your image is suitable for production go to our Custom Image Panel page and upload your image directly to the site.

Step 3: Once your order has been placed you will receive of proof of your image within 1-2 business days.

How to Choose a Great Photo from your own Personal Collection:

In order to create a high quality print, there are a few things we need to consider, including:

  • the resolution of the photo
  • the type of file (vector is best)
  • what kind of camera took the photo
  • the file size of the image
  • where and how you will be hanging you printed panels
  • what size you want your picture to be

How to transfer a picture to canvas or panel from iStockphoto:

Step 1: Navigate to iStockphoto

Step 2: On the left navigation bar check the filters for photo and illustration.

Step 3: The photo sizes that appear will be XL, XXL and XXXL. These three sizes will work for an acoustic panel print. However, there are some stock image sizes that will work better than others for specific panel dimensions. There are a few things to remember when transferring a picture to canvas. One, most iStockphoto images are best suited for 1’x2’, 2’x2’ and 2’x3’ Audimute image Panels. Two, remember that not all images are suited for large scale reproduction. iStockphoto sizes. Finally, small, medium and large images are generally not suited for panel reproduction.The chart below will provide you with the Audimute Acoustic Panel sizes that work best with each iStockphoto image size:

Step 4: Select an image that appeals to you and can be transferred onto the Acoustic Panel size you desire. Prior to purchasing an image from iStockphoto, feel free to contact one of our graphic consultants to ensure that your image will work on your Acoustic Panel.

Step 5: On the purchase page, select the correct size photo needed for your acoustic panel. After you have selected the appropriate photo size click on "download this photo". 

Step 6: Once you have purchased your iStockphoto, go to Audimute’s Custom Image Panel page and simply upload your image directly to the sight. Once your order has been placed one of our graphic consultants will send you a proof of your image panel within 1-2 business days.
