“Truline’s main conference room separates two main offices and conversations would seep between these three rooms…The addition of the Custom Image Fabric Panels from Audimute has reduced the noise spill to a non-noticeable level. Private conversations are now private again!

- Stuart W., President of Truline Industries

The Problem

Truline Industries, located in Chesterland, Ohio, had a noise problem that was overtaking two of their main office spaces. The President of Truline, Stuart W., stated of their acoustic issues, “Truline’s main conference room separates two main offices and conversations would seep between these three rooms. Conference calls on speaker would especially overflow into my office”. Privacy was non-existent between these separate office spaces and workers found it difficult to concentrate with the excessive noise leaking through the walls.

The Solution

Audimute’s acoustic specialists knew that Fabric Panels, placed in Stuart’s office, would absorb the excess noise from his personal conversations. Our specialists wanted to place the acoustic panels near the sound source, which in this case was Stuart's voice, to reduce his volume and limited the amount of noise that traveled into the adjacent offices.

Stuart then made the decision to use Custom Image Panels for Truline’s acoustic treatment solution. Stuart, a photographer in his spare time, wanted to use images that he took of European Cathedrals to decorate his office.  Audimute's graphic consultants then took the provided photos and split each image across several panels. The Split Image Panel design added an additional eye catching visual element to Truline's wall decor. Stuart also wanted to use the Custom Image Gallery Wrapped Acoustic Panels as an opportunity to feature his company’s products in Truline’s office entrance way.

The Outcome

According to Stuart, “The addition of the Custom Image Acoustic Panels from Audimute has reduced the noise spill to a non-noticeable level. Private conversations are now private again.”

The acoustic effects were not the only advantage Truline found with their Fabric Panels. The decision to use Stuart’s personal imagery was a welcomed aesthetic addition to Truline’s décor. Once the panels were installed Stuart commented, “Before Audimute, we were purchasing canvas panels. These canvas panels had wood frames and looked like a low cost product compared to the deep rich images that were printed onto my acoustic panels from Audimute. The fabric is warm and vibrant, and I find people touching it all the time.”

Stuart also noted, “I was lucky enough to witness the custom framing by Audimute’s dedicated team of professionals, their attention to detail was first class. The construction out of steel frames, coupled with the fire rated properties of the absorption material, were all well worth the investment.”
